Infants

Infants will eat and sleep on their own schedule. Their cries will be responded to quickly by qualified, caring staff. Every child will have physical contact with a teacher daily in the form of rocking, holding, singing, and talking.

We provide a safe, clean open area for creeping and crawling as well as a quiet area for sleeping and resting. Toys and equipment are washed and sanitized on a daily basis, or more often if necessary. A crib will be provided for each infant up to 12 months.

Toddlers

Toddlers will be given opportunities to discover new things through sensory activities as well as interactions with staff and other children of the same age. We offer a variety of toys to encourage play as a learning and growth experience. Child-sized cups and spoons will be provided to encourage self-help skills. We will support children as they begin to use words to express their needs.

Outdoor Play

All children will play outside at least once per day, weather permitting. We will also take the children on walks around the neighborhood or just around the building. Our playground includes a sandbox and equipment suitable for climbing and sliding.
