GBH Clubhouse
The School-Age Program provides care for children before and after school from Kindergarten – 10 years. We offer full and part-time schedules with a minimum three day schedule. The program follows the area’s school district calendar. GBH will accommodate children to attend extra hours on no school days, early release days, snow days, school breaks, etc.

Before School Program
Children participating in our Before School Program will need to arrive at the center by 7:30am. They will be taken to school by a bus or van. There will be a variety of free choice activities for them to partake in before school. Only children enrolled in our before school program will be able to attend GBH on school delay days.
After School Program
Children enrolled in our After School Program will meet after school and be transported back to GBH by bus or van. Upon arrival at the center, children will be able to freely choose activities to participate in. These activities include large motor gym activities, arts and crafts activities, board games, and puzzles, as well as an option to do homework, read or just relax and chat with friends.
Children enrolled in our After School Program can attend full days when school is canceled due to inclement weather, teacher convention, in-service days, etc.
Before School Program
Children participating in our Before School Program will need to arrive at the center by 7:30am. They will be taken to school by a bus or van. There will be a variety of free choice activities for them to partake in before school. Only children enrolled in our before school program will be able to attend GBH on school delay days.
After School Program
Children enrolled in our After School Program will meet after school and be transported back to GBH by bus or van. Upon arrival at the center, children will be able to freely choose activities to participate in. These activities include large motor gym activities, arts and crafts activities, board games, and puzzles, as well as an option to do homework, read or just relax and chat with friends.
Children enrolled in our After School Program can attend full days when school is canceled due to inclement weather, teacher convention, in-service days, etc.
Transportation
Windsor: Ginger Bread House will provide transportation to and from Yahara Elementary, Eagle Point Elementary and Windsor Elementary Schools.
Deforest: Ginger Bread House will provide transportation to and from Eagle Point Elementary school.
McFarland: Ginger Bread House will provide transportation to and from McFarland Primary School and Waubesa Elementary School.
Sun Prairie: Ginger Bread House will provide transportation to and from East Side Elementary, West Side Elementary, North Side Elementary, Bird Elementary, Royal Oaks Elementary, Token Springs Elementary. Meadowview, Creekside and Horizon DO NOT receive transportation.
During the Day
All children will play outside at least once per day, weather permitting. The playground is fenced in and has equipment for climbing and sliding as well as large open space for running and playing group games.
A snack is served after school and on any non-school days, the children will also be offered a morning snack. Children must provide their own cold lunch on days they will be at GBH at lunchtime or pay an additional cost for a GBH lunch.
Field Trips
We have at least one field trip every month. These will be scheduled on no school days. Participation is optional, however if you choose not to participate, you will need to find alternate care. We use a bus service to transport us on these trips. Each trip will be an additional cost per child.
